Let us make you a shirt. We guarantee a perfect fit. If you’re not 100% happy, we’ll alter or replace your first shirt at no charge. Once we perfect your fit, we’ll save your updated details for easy re-ordering.

There are a couple reasons why shirt sizes may have slight variations between them. The most common is due to the fact that shirts change size over time with wear and launderings. Typically the fabric becomes softer and may stretch to a larger size.

If your new shirts seem to fit differently than older shirts, the most likely explanation is that they simply need to be “broken in.” We encourage you to wash and wear the shirts several times.

If you feel that immediate adjustment is required, we ask that in addition to returning the new shirts you also loan us your best fitting older shirt. This will allow us to measure the older shirt and determine your preferred measurements.

Made-to-Measure (MTM) shirts offer an edited selection of our most popular fabrics and styles. For MTM shirts, your Fit is based on collar size, chest size, sleeve length and desired fit (regular or trim). You can customize the Fit and Style on any shirt featured in our Collections section.

By contrast, our Bespoke Shirts feature limitless customization and are available exclusively at our Houston Storefront or a Hamilton Stockist. We begin the process by making a single shirt for your approval. After making any necessary adjustments, we then produce the remainder of your order.

For first time Bespoke purchases, there is a minimum order of five shirts. There is no order minimum on repeat purchases.

Yes. While Hamilton Bespoke is not available for purchase online, all fabrics and styles featured on the website are available at our Houston Storefront or a Hamilton Stockist near you.

If you’ve already worked with us to create your custom fit, you can simply call us to place your order and we’ll make your shirts just the way you like them according to your file.

Yes. This service is available in Hamilton Bespoke. If you prefer the fit or style of a shirt already in your possession we can duplicate all or certain elements.

We suggest commercial laundering without starch. If a specific fabric requires dry cleaning, this will be indicated on the shirt care tag. Federal law does not allow us to suggest “commercial laundering” on shirt care tags.

For this reason the care tag reads, “Machine wash cold, line dry, do not bleach”. This is also an acceptable form of shirt care, however we have observed that shirts shrink more when washed at home as compared to when commercially laundered.

Your collar has been specially constructed to avoid excessive shrinkage after many launderings. We do not glue, or fuse the interlining to the collar fabric.

If hand ironing, press from the tips of the collar up and towards the center. Do not press towards the tips of the collar or the fabric may crease against the seam.

Collars and cuffs consist of an interlining sewn between two pieces of fabric. It’s this interlining that provides the necessary structure and weight. Most shirtmakers choose to glue, or fuse, the interlining to the fabric because it is an easy way to ensure the shirt looks crisp when new.

The downside to fusing is that the shirt continues to shrink with each laundering as the glue contracts. It requires greater care and skill to construct an excellent non-fused collar. Non-fused shirts do not shrink after initial launderings.

We will happily adjust the price of an item you’ve purchased if it goes on sale within two weeks of your order date. Items not purchased at full price are ineligible for price adjustments.

It’s important to us that you’re pleased with your order, which is why we offer our Perfect Fit Guarantee.

Your First Shirt: If you’re not happy with your first shirt, we’ll gladly alter or remake it at no charge. Once we perfect your fit, we’ll save your details for easy re-ordering.

Subsequent Standard-sized Shirt Orders: We offer credit or exchange within 30 days of the original purchase date. If credit is requested, please allow 3–5 business days for processing of your refund. There is a $25 restocking fee per shirt. To avoid incurring this fee, our Shirt Specialists will gladly send you try-on shirts to confirm your fit prior to placing your order.

Subsequent Custom-sized Shirt Orders: We guarantee that our custom shirts will be delivered within our stated sizing tolerances. If we fail to do so, we will make necessary alterations at no charge. Otherwise, we do not offer credit or exchange on custom-sized shirts.

To return your package, please place relevant item(s) back into the original shipping box with a note letting us know why you are sending the item(s) back. Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise only and cannot be redeemed for cash. We offer two types of custom shirts, Bespoke and Made-to-Measure. Bespoke is a higher level of customization and requires a first time order minimum of five shirts. Any gift amount less than five shirts is eligible for redemption as Made-to-Measure.
